Our second Christmas Concert will be 6 pm, Sunday, December 16, 2018 at the Pearisburg First United Methodist Church. This will be our only full-program concert in the county this season, so make plans to attend.
We will also be selling some beautiful handmade Christmas decorations & crafts in the church vestibule from 5-6 pm right before the concert. Come early to pick up a giant Christmas wreath made of grapevines or pinecone tree ornaments. Check out some pictures of our wares in the gallery below.
It’s yesterday once more as
the Seventies make a major
musical comeback!
What do bell bottoms, macramé, leisure suits, and platform shoes have in common? They all lived (and died!) in the Seventies. Well watch out, New River Valley, because we’re bringing the ’70’s back in concerts fit for THIS decade.
The theme of our spring/summer 2018 concerts will be “Yesterday Once More”. We’re going to revisit the great musical legacy that was the Seventies: hits that stole our hearts and burned up the charts by Glen Campbell, B.J. Thomas, Gladys Knight & the Pips, 3 Dog Night, The Commodores, and many others!
We’ve now set all the dates, times, & places for our major Spring/Summer 2018 concerts. We are happy to announce that we will be appearing in Blacksburg in mid-April. See below for details. We might have additional appearances, so check back here for specific date/time/place concert announcements as they develop.
Or, better still, join us for practice Tuesdays at 7 pm. That way you’ll be sure to get our scheduling info as soon as it’s firmed up.
